Who is Murat Tarman?

Chief Executive Officer – Tarman Group

Born in Istanbul in 1973, Murat Tarman completed his primary and secondary education in Istanbul.

Between 1993 and 1997, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Business Administration in the United States. He subsequently completed his MBA between 1997 and 1999. Following his academic studies, he returned to Türkiye and fulfilled his military service in Malatya.

Mr. Tarman began his professional career within Tarman Group, which operates in the cement, textile, real estate investment, and construction sectors. Starting from entry-level positions, he assumed responsibilities across operations, finance, and strategic management functions.

Throughout his career progression, he played an active role in strengthening the Group’s corporate governance framework, enhancing financial discipline, improving operational efficiency, and shaping its long-term sustainable growth strategy.

Today, Murat Tarman serves as Chief Executive Officer of Tarman Group, a multi-sector industrial group active in cement, textile, tourism, port operations, logistics, and real estate. In this capacity, he oversees the strategic management of the Group’s industrial investments, port and logistics operations, tourism projects, and real estate portfolio.

He is a member of TÜSİAD (Turkish Industry and Business Association).

Mr. Tarman is married and has two children.
